Beaver Hill Campground

We are at the Beaver Hill Campground in Hamburg, NJ. It is a lovely place in the mountains of New Jersey. I tried to take a photo to show how lovely it is, but it came out very dark. I guess there is just too much shade--Aside from photos, works for me!

We have been hiking, grilling, relaxing, working a little.....and Rebecca and I made a new quilt for her apartment. The photo shows the quilt near the end of the creation of the quilt top. I would never have considered making a quilt in our old RV since it would have been too crowded and too dark. But, it has worked very well in our new one!

Roger and Rebecca took the scooter to a little town about six miles away and got some things at Wal-mart. Yesterday was the first time we have gotten the scooter off the RV, so I have not yet ridden the scooter on the trip. But, as we go forward and have just two of us in different campgrounds for a week or more at a time, I know we will use it a lot, and I will get to ride it plenty!

Ellen,
You just amaze me!! Who else would think of making a quilt while on their RV vacation??

How are the temperatures up there?

We might have thought of making the quilt before the trip, but there was just no time. So, since it seemed like time would be more plentiful on the trip, it was just a logical choice!

The temperatures are lovely here. We are wearing shorts, but we do not need air conditioning. Just perfect!
